Welfare reform

Pushing parents into work devalues the role of the parent. As a society we need to be championing people who take on this vital type of work, one that Tories, Lib Dems and previously Labour wanted to downgrade. Being a parent is hard work, it is difficult work and if it is not done properly the impact on society is huge.

Let's start by not saying to parent's of one year old's that they need to think about getting back to work. Let's support them instead in the tough job they have already taken on.
