Fracking report - BBC miss the real story

The local BBC ran the story that fracking is safe last night, quoting a new report by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Of course I expected them to ignore the impact of the extracted gas on climate change but I would have thought they would have picked on the scandal that the report was co-authored by the UK's leading fracker. This if from Frack Off:
Stunningly poor reporting by the BBC who are failing to report the real story that this government is fundamentally corrupt and self serving. What next, a report by Fred Goodwin, the government's new monetary policy tzar, that banking problems have been blown out of proportion and that the sector is sound and safe for the future?
