Following the sad and sudden death of Cllr Malcolm Roberson, there are two by elections in Maidstone. One for the Allington seat on Maidstone Borough Council and one for Maidstone Central on Kent County Council.
I suspect both seats will attract large numbers or candidates and I hope that the campaigns are fought positively and without the lies and half truths that we have seen in Maidstone elections recently.
Once our candidates have been accepted by the council, I'll publish details
