The secretary of Gravesham UKIP who is standing for Meopham North in a by election is causing disgust and outrage at a national level after calling for compulsory abortion of foetuses with Down's syndrome or spina bifida. Sadly UKIP have not expelled him.
He also wants 'compulsory advice' for people over 80 on euthanasia and for religions to get re-writes of their sacred texts.
It is a sad day when there are candidates with such appalling views. Let us hope that the voters shun him out of politics.
