Glimmer of hope for public transport in Maidstone

If reports are true then Maidstone may be piloting an Oyster card soon and have our City train service back. According to the KM the Oyster Card is to be piloted early next year and Thameslink are going to start a half hourly service from Maidstone East to the City and on to St Pancras in 2018.

Glimmers of hope, but there is still a long way to go before these will impact on the level of traffic on our roads.
