Solstice Greetings

I've always celebrated the Solstice, partly because the point in the year is special marking the start of the return of the sun and partly because it's my birthday.

The time of year is one of reflection and one to begin to make plans for the coming year. As we head into 2014, we leave a year that has seen significant milestones to the increasing climate chaos. In the year that CO2 passed 400 ppm, governments took even fewer steps to prevent it while they focused on making the rich richer and walking out of debates on food banks.

This simply strengthens my resolve to get them out of government and to campaign for a real democracy. I'd used the phrase "wild revolution" in a previous post and increasing it seems to encapsulate exactly what we need.
