Climate change is more certain than ever

Climate change is creeping into the minds of ordinary people. Here is Maidstone and especially in the nearby village of Yalding, we have been affected by flooding for the past two months due to the exceptional rainfall caused by climate change.

Talking to people on the doorstep there is an increasing realisation that man made climate change is not just real but now has the potential to hurt them as individiuals.

Today a report by the Royal Society and the US National Academy of Sciences has warned that global temperatures are rising ten times fast than at the end of the last ice age. This is a global disaster on a scale that has never been experienced before and we are only just at the start of the problem.

The UK government is complicit in the conspiracy to ignore and in recent times even deny that climate change is happening. The only way a known climate denier can be appointed to be Environment Secretary is with a significant desire by Cameron and Clegg to push climate change off of the agenda.
