More flooding in the town

While we are experiencing nothing like the disaster in Somerset or even Yalding, the river levels in the Town Centre are worryingly high again.

People along Hart Street will be especially anxious as the water is just a few feet from the road. Let's hope the 24 hours of respite from the weather allows the level to fall.

The subways never got de-flooded despite promises from KCC. Now the river has risen again the water in them has risen too. I'm looking forward to using them in the summer but KCC needs to put an alternative in place quickly.
