Four year high for people killed or seriously injured on Kent's roads

While Brighton's roads are getting safer under the Green Council, figures out last week show that the number of people Killed or Seriously Injured on Kent's roads has hit a 4 year high.

This shocking position with its third rise in a row demonstrates the complete complacency that Kent County Council have towards road safety. Their refusal to implement 20mph limits in all residential areas, their failure to provide safe paths for cyclists or good pavements for pedestrians, and their seeming passion to see more cars on our road tell me that the council is complicit in these accidents.

These accidents will have been devastating to the families of the people killed or seriously injured in these 594 accidents in 2013.

Kent County Council have failed to protect people across Kent.
