No to Boris Island

Tories showing off their green credentials again... this time it's Boris's turn - he wants to build an island in the Thames Estuary.

The Tories on Kent County Council are up in arms, they have started a campaign to stop it and there is an online petition here. While KCC's position on BI is welcome, it is also strange. They are supporting airport expansion at Manston and Lydd so why not off the coast of Sheppey?

Clearly their opposition is not related to climate change, reducing congestion or jobs. So what is it?
