March to save Bluebell Wood

A superb turnout in torrential rain today - protesting and marching against 500 houses being built on ancient woodland and farmland on the outskirts of Maidstone.

The march was organised by the St Andrews Rd Action Group who would see their road increase from 700 cars a day to 14,000, and the New Allington Action Group who also have a FB page here. Well done to both.

I submitted my objection to the plans earlier today.
